Day 30
I have a homework assignment to do for tomorrow. A poem. Easy enough right? So I went to one of my favorite places in Malibu to meditate and write, the Self-Realization Fellowship. They happened to be closed when I had arrived so I went adventuring and found a chill spot that overlooked the ocean. Wanna see the poem?
To Escape into a Subtle Dream
To escape into a subtle dream,
A world of utter wonder,
Thoughts flowing down their steady stream.
Places where men dare to gleam,
For some it’s a blunder,
To escape into a subtle dream.
For those who take their dream, extreme,
Their worlds is torn asunder,
Thoughts flowing down their steady stream.
Dreams banned by regime schemes,
May surely await it’s thunder,
To sneak into a subtle dream.
To those with the proper esteem,
Together we shall plunder,
Our thoughts flowing down a steady stream.
Encroaching on a changing theme,
Would indeed bring us under,
To escape into a subtle dream,
Thoughts flowing down their steady stream.
kitten-as-a-cat asked: will, we should skype again sometime.
your right, I dont hop on it enough.
My life philosophy.
Mother-nature kicked my 365 days of awesome blog square in the nuts. I felt so sick I couldn’t even get outta bed til about 1 in the afternoon. Hopefully its just a little flu. I’d post a pic of how gross I am right now but you definitely don’t wanna see that. I couldn’t do much but try to rest it off today.
Day 28
Today I had a lot on my mind. I’ve been feeling a little lost, so I went up to the place that I like most to just sit, in the peace and quiet, and think. I snapped a couple photos of this gorgeous sunset that you could view from the top of this hill. Was really peaceful and allowed me to unwind a little.
Day 27
Today felt like a day for a biking adventure, even if at first I didn’t know it…hehe. Before I could try for a afternoon nap, after my morning class, I received a phone call from one of my best friends Kascey. Totally stoked for her new bike she asked if I’d like to go for a bike ride with her. I decided to ride with her one of my favorite small circles around Ventura. Riding down the beach and then up thru downtown Ventura. I would’ve taken more photos but I down think I could handle riding my bike in traffic and taking pictures. Ill see what I can do next time.
Day 25
Wednesday is a long day of class for me. Two 4 hour classes back to back. One awesome thing me and my friends like to do is hit it over to the beach and chill for a bit. What was awesome about this trip was the company we met while we were down there. Two big-rig drivers, Pete and Jesse, were wondering if they could smoke with us. We chilled and threw stories back and forth until they had to leave. It’s not easy for them to balance their work and home lives. Gives me quite a respect for what they do.
